Linda Tracz - Photography

Since I was a child, I have always been interested in photography and catching everyday moments. My father was my mentor and teacher. Where-ever we traveled, we carried our cameras wai>ng for that special picture. At the end of the day we worked endless hours in his dark room developing our achievements.

Now with my father’s spirit I always carry my camera in hand. I wait for that special unique shot to materialize and to be captured. These mo- ments are then frozen in >me and probably will never be reenacted again. I hope that when I am gone that these frames will live on and provide a memory of me.

Now, being re>red I have been able to focus on what I do best. Many of my photos have been shown on WUTV U>ca. I am a regular contributor. I have donated my arts to Community Councils and to the indigent. Some of my works are harbored in various galleries including The Forest Hills Gallery Forest Hills NY, The Cherry Branch Cherry Valley NY, The Picture Perfect Canajoharie NY, the Ar>s>ns’ Guild Oneonta NY, Fenimore Art Mu- seum Cooperstown NY, Saratoga Art Museum Saratoga NY, Schoharie Crossing Historical Museum Ft Hunter NY, Arkell Museum in Canajoharie NY and CANO in Oneonta NY. I received the Fenimore Art Museum Pho- tographers Award for excellence in photography three >mes and best in show at Art in the Park Saratoga Arts. I enjoy photographing weddings, birthdays, and special occasion’s. My favorite endeavors include and not limited to are landscapes, portraits and photographing children.

To share my life and my talents is where I get my balance and a feeling of self-gra>tude. Fore me the image that was captured lives on forever and will show individuals what I was about and my talents.

Photography ignites in me a passion for exploring the world and the intricacies with in it. Whether shooting a vast landscape of exploring some detail of life, the whole process of examining the subject and deciding how to portray it takes me away. Using color, texture and perspective. I seek to create interesting views of life and our land, and give recognition to the function and beauty of things generally taken for granted.
When my images stir emotion for others, the passion I’ve invested yields an added realm of fulfillment. I hope my images provide pleasure for your soul, as well as your eyes.
