We are a virtual gallery and photography studio, producing fine quality photo prints on paper, canvas and metal. We shoot with medium format analogue equipment.
Our work is driven by the passion for creating images that capture the transient beauty and complexity of the world around us - and at the same time presenting interior design pieces that enhance and elevate the spaces in which they are displayed.
Wandering about the city with a camera, we are always searching for the timeless interplay of light and shadow that emerges from the intricate details of urban architecture that defines the iconic NYC landscape and that is refracted through the sweeping vistas of the NYC skyline.
As photographers, we are walking on the thin line between antique and contemporary, capturing the essence of New York City using a medium format analog camera, specifically a Hasselblad. Our imagery is infused with a sense of nostalgia and reverence for the classic techniques of film photography.
Shooting with a Hasselblad is a deliberate, intentional process that requires careful consideration of every aspect of the image, from composition and lighting to film stock, processing and printing. This approach allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the moment, to slow down and truly engage with the Cityscape.
We believe that film photography, with its tactile and physical nature, has a unique ability to convey a sense of continuity and connection between past and present that is often lost in the digital realm.
