Mandi Mader
I have been making beautiful stained glass since 2017 using the Copper Foil Method. A method that is relatively new in the history of this art, dating from 1880. The difference being that it requires more precision in glass cutting but also allows for the addition of SMALL details in a piece. I am actually following in the footsteps of famous stained glass artist LC Tiffany! Tiffany also used this method.
I love Nature and nature themes so it was only "natural" that I began adding dried flowers and leaves to my art. You'll find familiar flowers such as Daisies, Violets, Pansies and Queen Anne's Lace as well as different types of Ferns, plus Oak, Maple and other leaves mounted on clear or colored glass creating collages extraordinaire. Trained at The Weisser Glass Studio in Kensington, MD, I am available for most types of Stained Glass repairs. |
