Judy Baker

I am a wife, mother and grandmother living in Otego NY.

I have explored many different art mediums over the years and recently have been working in Alcohol Ink. Alcohol ink is a concentrated dye that I, as the artist, mix with alcohol to use in my paintings. It's a very exciting medium to work with as it has a mind of it's own and the outcome is always a surprise.

Soap werks

My handcrafted soaps are made with all natural plant oils and butters. The result is a mild, rich, and moisturizing soap that feels creamy in your hands, offers a great lather, and leaves your skin feeling clean, soft, and healthy. My recipe uses the following oils and butters, along with only natural colorants and scents:
  • Olive oil: Very moisturizing
  • Coconut oil: Cleansing
  • Palm oil: Rich in vitamins A & E
  • Castor oil: Antiviral and antifungal
  • Shea butter: Conditioning and nourishing, and GREAT for dry skin
