Born and raised in Delhi, NY, Joan dabbled in a variety of arts and crafts through the years and is a relatively new explorer of the impasto style of acrylic painting you see here. Inspired by Jen Vranes, Joan is a dedicated member of her painting club where they received ongoing instruction, guidance and inspiration from Vranes and a community of fellow artists across the United States. This connection to a broader network fosters a continuous evolution of Joan's style and perspectives as she continues honing her skills and building a compelling portfolio of landscape works.
