Jewelry
In 2010 my teenage daughter became involved in a foreign exchange program and wanted to go to France. We learned to make simple beaded jewelry as a fundraiser. I told her if she earned enough to get there, I’d pay to bring her home. Once we’d sold enough to pay her way there, she quit. BUT, I was hooked!
I continued to learn & improve, eventually switching to semi precious stones and adding metals. I love layering different types of metals and adding texture. I recently took a class to improve my metal skills, and I’ll be excited to add these pieces to The Artisans' Guild. In 2015, I was successful enough to use my jewelry profits to visit my daughter in France. We loved visiting Italy and Paris together. Today she is not so far away! She teaches Spanish & French in the Albany NY area.
I consider myself “the affordable jeweler “. I want people to be able to buy a piece of jewelry, and not worry about losing it. Or maybe they just want to buy a piece more frequently, or to have affordable gift options. I'm your gal...
I live and work full-time in Oneonta as a support staff to a person with special needs. I teach community art/craft classes through ARC‘s main view gallery.
