​Teri Stratford’s Autumn Emeralds

As leaves & flowers are biodegradable and will fade and deteriorate over time, original Leaf Art is scanned immediately after creation, preserving Nature’s beautiful colors long after originals are gone.

​Born and raised in farm country in upstate NY, I made my way to New York City
after earning a B.A. in Art History at SUNY New Paltz . 
There I made a career in the textbook publishing industry as a freelance Photo Editor and Photographer
for major publishers such as Pearson Education, McGraw-Hill and Macmillan.
Today I’ve transitioned smoothly from editor to artist at Autumn Emeralds Art Prints,
taking full advantage of the lush growing environment of the Northeastern USA. 
I currently reside in Walton, NY, my hometown.
 
Each Autumn Emeralds Art Print image is MADE WITH REAL LEAVES & FLOWERS
arranged on illustration board, usually with watercolor backgrounds.

Subjects include colorful Landscapes plus Animals such as Horses,
Chickens, Birds, Cats, Dogs, Fish, Dragonflies, Bald Eagles, People and even a Zebra! 
Recently, I’ve done a few commissions, the first of Clover the Great Dane Dog.
 
Nature is my love and passion.  I thrive being outdoors.  An avid gardener, I love growing things. 
 I love all animals but particularly CATS. I love beautiful things. 
Creative since childhood, I have experimented with many different mediums from
Ceramics to Watercolors, Quilt making to Printmaking.
 
Autumn Emeralds Art Prints are an expression of my love, appreciation and reverence for nature;
a celebration of nature’s beauty, infinite variety and detail.
Playfulness is a must and appears in subjects chosen and image titles.
