Christine Monahan has been a leather designer for the past 15 years. She started working with leather as an apprentice for Randall Herold/Antelope Dancer, a renowned boot maker/handbag designer.
Her creations are a mix of leather, textiles and antique findings. All are one of a kind pieces, with form and function in mind, as well as the recycling of old and new.
She currently resides in Unadilla having just returned from 18 months in Alaska. Her work has been shown locally and throughout New York, as well as California, Mexico and Alaska.
