We are cabinetmakers, artists, renewable energy enthusiasts and recycling fanatics. Over the years we have gone through various incarnations in our business. Our current focus/passion is for producing one of a kind and selected editions of furniture using what might be termed "unusual" woods and materials. We translate “unusual†as woods and materials that would be perceived as less than perfect, but retain a unique peculiarity. Be it a raw edge or knot, unusual figuring caused by different conditions during the life cycle of a tree or reclaimed siding from an old barn or home. These are the elements that we seek out to (re)create our pieces. Other items such as antique glass from windows and doors, porch columns, decorative elements and hardware from furniture and buildings of a by gone era and various found objects that are just too good to be thrown by the way side. All with the lumps, bumps and bruises that a complete life offers are celebrated.
